祇園祭山鉾巡行/7月17日
7月17日は、祇園祭の山鉾巡行です。
コンチキチン♪午前九時、四条烏丸に集合した３２基の山鉾が、長刀鉾を先頭に出発します。
祇園囃子を奏でながら四条通、河原町通、御池通、新町とおりと巡行します。
重さ約１２トンの鉾の向きを変える「辻回し」は見ものです。
写真は毎年巡行の最後を行く南観音山です。
夜は八坂神社からお旅所まで御輿も出ます。
